Knowing God
You can know GOD, here's an explaination to help you...

Where did we come from?
God created us.
God the Supreme Being, creator and ruler of the universe is the best answer. Not
only is it the best answer is also is the most logical answer!
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

Then WHY is the world so messed up?
SIN !
God created man with the choice to love and obey Him or to reject Him. God does
not want a robot type love so He lets us each decide if we want Him or not.
Joshua 24:15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves
this day whom you will serve, . . . But as for me and my household, we will serve
the LORD."
Most people have rejected God and His ways. This is why the world messed up.
Romans 3: 10-11 As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; there
is no one who understands, no one who seeks God."
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

What is the result of man’s rejection of God?
DEATH
Death is separation. When a love one dies we are no longer physically together.
Sin causes us to be separated from God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rev 21:12-15 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and
books were opened . . .The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded
in the books . . . anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was
thrown into the lake of fire.

Since all have sinned is it too late for me?
NO!
God is a God of Love and He has made a way!
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. God send Jesus Christ to
make a way for us to go to heaven. He died in our place. His resurrection from the
dead is the assurance that God is true! (not sure if this is how I want to say it)
I Cor 15:3-4 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he
was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, Jesus Christ is the only
way to God
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes
to the Father except through me.

If what you say is true, what do I have to do to have a right relationship with God?
Believe!
You have to believe what the Bible says about Jesus Christ
Acts 16:30-31 . . . “Sirs, what must I do to be saved (have eternal life)?”
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved . . . Believing
is having faith that what the God says in the Bible is true / correct. It is
placing your faith in God and His gift of grace, His giving to you eternal life,
because of your faith in Him.
Eph 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not
from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which
God prepared in advance for us to do.

Is believing all I have to do?
Yes and NO
Believing in Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour puts you in right relationship with God. Once in a right relationship with God He want you to walk with Him, live out your faith, act like you are a child of God.
John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
1 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
Eph 4:1-2 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Ok, I believe. What do I do?
You have to tell God!
Why not pray (praying is talking to God) and tell you know you are a sinner and you now believe that Jesus Christ paid the price for your sin. Ask Him to come into your life and give you eternal life!
Romans 10:10-11 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”
